About the Portal

Turismochile.com is a web portal which aims to provide information for both the Chilean and International tourist, by publishing a detailed list of services and informative articles for all of Chile. The key aspect we work on is the large list of updated services, including lists of accommodation, restaurants, tourist activities, cultural attractions, religious festivals, sports, and many others.

We are striving to achieve our principal objective, which is to provide a portal which is easy to navigate and provides useful information for all those who use it, creating an important nexus between the tourist and tourist service providers.

Technology Used

The TurismoChile.com portal is property of Conectu.com, a Chilean based Information Technology (IT) company. The current version of the portal, launched on 1st August 2003 has been exclusively developed by Conectu.com and incorporates cutting edge technology as well as important concepts of information architecture. We believe that a successful portal requires a powerful engine, so technology is at the forefront of our minds in the development process.

Staff

At Turismochile.com we work as a team, integrating several areas with the aim of achieving a better portal both in content as well as in new technologies.
