Where to go in Puerto Natales?

Plaza Arturo Prat
The plaza is located in the center of Puerto Natales, opposite the Catholic church and the municipal administration buildings. It is a very large, beautiful square, and has trees which are not native to the area, such as pines.

Museo Salesiano Alberto de Agostini
The museum is located at Padre Rossa Nº 1456 and belongs to the Colegio Salesiano in Puerto Natales. There is an interesting display of the flora and fauna of the Patagonian region.

Pueblo Artesanal Ether Aike
Inaugurated on May 20, 2002 and located on the corner of Phillipi and Angamos streets; handicrafts by artists from the area, who find their inspiration in its history and its flora and fauna, are exhibited here.
It is open in the summer between 10 a.m. and 9.30 p.m. and in the winter from 2.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Costanera de Puerto Natales
From the waterfront of Puerto Natales you can see hills such as Tenerife, Mocho, Benítez, and Ballena, among others, which are covered in snow in the winter. Various species of birds also live here.

Museo Histórico Municipal

The Municipal Historical Museum is located at Bulnes Nº 285. In it you will find many interesting cultural artifacts of the area, including items from the Frigorífico Bories, Captain Eberhard and the Sociedad Ganadera de Tierra del Fuego.

The museum was created by Carabineros de Chile at the beginning of 1990 and has five halls, each devoted to a different theme: the Sala Mundo y Ambientes Primitivos; an exhibition of items from the original environment and aboriginal human life; the Sala Colonización; the Sala Vida Rural and the Sala de Actividades Urbanas.

Muelle de Pescadores Artesanales
Located at the southern end of the Costanera de Puerto Natales, there is a variety of boats docked at the quay and the local fishermen carry out their work here.
